Speaker: Bill Horne, President, NDT Corporation
Presentation Summary: Attendees will gain knowledge about NDT Corporation’s sonic/ultrasonic testing including Impact Echo (IE) ASTM C1383-15, Pulse Velocity (PV) ASTM C597-16, Energy wave propagation theory of compressional and shear waves, Testing Concrete; Compression strength, corrosion and cracking, Salvageability of old structures (condition assessment), Consolidation issues placing new concrete. Testing Applications include Bridges and foundations, Buildings and walls, Tunnels and pipes, Towers and hydroelectric facilities, and Post tensioned (PT) structures voids in grouted tendons.
Speaker Bio: Mr. Horne is the president of NDT Corporation, a nondestructive testing company based in Sterling MA (USA).
